Self-Watering Container Gardening

I recently came across Incredible Vegetables from Self- Watering Containers by Edward C. Smith. This book goes into detail why self watering container gardening has been more successful (for the author) in many cases than traditional in ground gardens. Some of his most successful crops are brussel sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, chard, bush beans, and the list goes on. He also gives his recipe for his fertilizer mix. Along with tons of how-tos this book offers ideas on companion gardening, organic gardening tips, pest control, and a page each of info on his favorite veggies to grow. The amount of plants per pot he has successfully grown was a bit surprising.
